Bring true Neapolitan pizza quality to your home setup with this handmade Biscotto clay baking stone, crafted in Italy. Specially designed for high-heat pizza ovens, it delivers authentic pizza results with a beautifully crisp base and soft, airy crust.

This 320mm x 320mm Biscotto stone is ideal for use in larger pizza ovens like the Ooni, some Effeuno ovens, and other commercial-style ovens. It is not suitable for standard kitchen ovens.

🔧 Before First Use (Burn-In Process):

    • Give it a rinse with cold water (don't soak it!).

    • Let it air dry completely.

    • Stick it in a cold oven and power it up to 50°C oven for 30 minutes.

    • Let it cool down all the way.

    • Your Biscotto is now ready to use.

Note: It’s normal for some smoke to appear during the initial burn-in. This only has to be done once.


🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Clean the hot stone using a brass wire brush only.

  • For fine dust, use a slightly damp cloth (only when the stone is fully cold).

  • Avoid using a steel brush as it may damage the surface.

Each Biscotto stone is handmade using traditional clay-drying methods, which means:

  • You may see natural imperfections like lines, splits, creases, hay, or sand.

  • Minor cracks or blemishes do not affect performance and are not considered defects.

  • Due to the fragile nature of the material, no warranty is offered – this is standard industry practice.
