This 320mm x 320mm Biscotto stone is ideal for use in larger pizza ovens like the Ooni, some Effeuno ovens, and other commercial-style ovens. It is not suitable for standard kitchen ovens.

 Before First Use (Burn-In Process):
- 
Give it a rinse with cold water (don't soak it!).
 - 
Let it air dry completely.
 - 
Stick it in a cold oven and power it up to 50°C oven for 30 minutes.
 - 
Let it cool down all the way.
 - 
Your Biscotto is now ready to use.
 
Note: It’s normal for some smoke to appear during the initial burn-in. This only has to be done once.
 Cleaning & Maintenance:

Clean the hot stone using a brass wire brush only.
 - 
For fine dust, use a slightly damp cloth (only when the stone is fully cold).
 - 
Avoid using a steel brush as it may damage the surface.

Each Biscotto stone is handmade using traditional clay-drying methods, which means:

You may see natural imperfections like lines, splits, creases, hay, or sand.
 - 
Minor cracks or blemishes do not affect performance and are not considered defects.
 - 
Due to the fragile nature of the material, no warranty is offered – this is standard industry practice.
