Bake beautiful fresh stone baked pizzas at home

Ingredients

All purpose flour or bread flour

360g

Fresh Yeast

2g

Lukewarm water

200ml

Sourdough Starter (optional in this recipe)

100g

Salt

12g

Preheat in oven to 230c

Instructions

Beautiful homemade pizza dough recipe to create and bake at home on our solid granite pizza stone. Our pizza stone will transform your baking results. The pizza stone creates even heat distribution, absorbs additional moisture for a crisper bake and helps to improve the rise. Perfect stone baked pizzas every time!

Follow our steps to bake the perfect pizza dough then get creative with your choice of toppings:

1. In a bowl dissolve 2g of fresh yeast and 200ml of lukewarm water together

2. In a separate bowl mix 12g of salt and 360g of flour together

3. Make a well with the flour and add 100g of sourdough starter inside the well (optional in this recipe)

4. Pour the water gradually inside the well and start to work the dough

5. Once well mixed leave for 20 minutes

6. Then work it again until smooth, then divide the dough into two equal parts, shape them round

7. Place them in a air tight container, refrigerate for 24 to 72 hours. More flavour will develop the longer you wait

8. Before baking place the Black Rock Grill Granite Pizza Stone into the cold oven and pre heat to the maximum temperature

9. Prepare your toppings of choice

10. Take the dough out of the fridge and spread the pizza dough on the counter top or pizza paddle

11. Apply toppings of your choice

12. Place your pizza on the pizza stone and bake for 4-5 minutes (time dependent on temperature)

13. Once cooked remove the pizza stone from the oven with our Black Rock Grill Heat Resistant Gloves and place on the metal cooling rack. Take to the table and enjoy! The pizza stone will keep the fresh pizza warm at the table till the last bite.
